About Shelter4Homeless
Shelter4Homeless is a 100% nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to eradicating homelessness among the elderly in Sri Lanka. Sadly, after a lifetime of hard work and raising families, many elderly individuals find themselves abandoned and without support. With limited safety nets available, they become some of the most vulnerable and marginalized members of society.
At Shelter4Homeless, we provide a safe, compassionate, and dignified environment where these individuals can reclaim their sense of security and well-being. Our shelter offers more than just a place to stay. It provides access to clean water, three nutritious meals a day, essential medical care, and a comfortable bed to rest in. These are not luxuries but basic human rights that every person deserves.
